Do you want to have your work show up on a LEGO social media feed?
Since this is LEGO only forum I thought I would share with you how to get your work seen and potentially used by the LEGO Group on their social media channels. During 2018 LEGO has been working with ToyPhotographers.com (a recognized LEGO Fan Media organization) to create content for the launch of various Ideas, Ninjago and Creator sets. This partnership has been so successful The LEGO Group is increasing their outreach to our respective communities.
In the past we've worked with select members of our community to thank them for supporting our blog the last two years. But as the asks are becoming more frequent and more open ended we're scouting for new talent to work with. The first place we will look is our MeWe community. We will be looking for photographers to pair up with assignments and offers from LEGO. This is also where we will post solicitations for thematic imagery that LEGO will use on their various SoMe channels.
In addition to these opportunities we also run frequent contests with prizes from LEGO. The prize for our most recent contest was a LEGO Ideas Pop-up book set.
While I understand no one needs an additional social media channel to monitor, by joining the Toy Photographers MeWe (or our Flickr group), you may end up with your imagery featured by the LEGO Group.
