Every month, I gather the top 10 most upvoted LEGO photos from the r/studshooters community and share them in a newsletter to celebrate and spread the hobby. Starting today, that newsletter has a new home right here on my website.
If you’re an email subscriber, there may be a brief hiccup as I move from Substack to my blog, but don’t worry, there’s nothing you need to do. However, it could take some time for me to set up mail delivery since I’ve got my hands full designing some cool LEGO-related stuff that I want to release by summer.
If you’re new to r/studshooters, it’s a LEGO photography community I started on Reddit a little over a year ago. After several years leading BrickCentral on Instagram, I set out to create a different kind of space for LEGO photographers that prioritizes community engagement and representation.
r/studshooters offers a shared feed where members can contribute their work without needing a large following. Great photography can surface naturally without the pressure of chasing likes or algorithms.
As with previous newsletters, this post reflects the spirit of community that defines r/studshooters. The gallery of photos featured here is shaped entirely by the anonymous upvotes of fellow LEGO photography enthusiasts, making it a true expression of collective taste.
So let’s get to it! Your top 10 LEGO photos of April 2025 (featured image at the top of the post by will_the_minifig):

That’s the selection for April! I’ll be back next month with a new set of 10 photos to gawk over.
NOTE: To keep it balanced, only one photo per member can appear in the Top 10, so check out all the great LEGO photos on r/studshooters this month too!
