Every month, I round up the 10 most upvoted photos on r/studshooters, a growing community for LEGO and brick toy photography. The vast majority of what gets posted is LEGO, though the subreddit welcomes other brick-compatible brands too. Redditors upvote on submissions, so the best work rises to the top naturally. Here’s what the community floated in June.
As always, only one photo per photographer is included to make way for other people in case there are multiple top 10s from one person.
Stud Shooters welcomed 348 new toy photographers this month, taking us to 5.2k members. I love to see the hobby gaining traction on all platforms, and happy to see it’s not just an Instagram thing.
We’re also halfway through the LEGO Photography Bootcamp this month, working our way through storytelling through props and poses. If you’re new to LEGO photography or need to polish your skills, join the 12-week hands-on guided exercises and get direct feedback from me.
New to Reddit? Here’s why it’s worth your time.
